27وَلَقَد أَهلَكنا ما حَولَكُم مِنَ القُرىٰ وَصَرَّفنَا الآياتِ لَعَلَّهُم يَرجِعونَGeorge SaleWe heretofore destroyed the cities which were round about you; and We variously proposed our signs unto them, that they might repent.
