27وَلِلَّهِ مُلكُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ وَيَومَ تَقومُ السّاعَةُ يَومَئِذٍ يَخسَرُ المُبطِلونَMuhammad AsadFor, God's is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; and on the Day when the Last Hour dawns - on that Day will be lost all who [in their lifetime] tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand].1I.e., whatever they could not "prove" by direct observation or calculation.
