19إِنَّهُم لَن يُغنوا عَنكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيئًا ۚ وَإِنَّ الظّالِمينَ بَعضُهُم أَولِياءُ بَعضٍ ۖ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ المُتَّقينَMuhammad AsadBehold, they could never be of any avail to thee if thou wert to defy the will of God1 - for, verily, such evildoers are but friends and protectors of one another, whereas God is the Protector of all who are conscious of Him.Lit., "against [i.e., "in defiance of"] God".
