30 Preface وَلَمّا جاءَهُمُ الحَقُّ قالوا هٰذا سِحرٌ وَإِنّا بِهِ كافِرونَYusuf AliBut when the Truth came to them, they said: “This is sorcery, and we1 do reject it.”When the pagan Meccans could not understand the wonderful power and authority with which the Prophet preached, they called his God-given influence sorcery!
