And We had sent messengers before you. Among them are those about whom We did narrate to you and among them are those about whom We did not narrate to you. And it is not (possible) for a messenger to come with a sign without Allah’s permission. So when the command of Allah came, it was judged with truth, and there lost those who were on falsehood. (R 8)
