6 Preface وَكَذٰلِكَ حَقَّت كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى الَّذينَ كَفَروا أَنَّهُم أَصحابُ النّارِYusuf AliThus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers;1 that truly they are Companions of the Fire!Cf. 39:71. The Decree, or Word, of God, by which Evil was to be judged and condemned, was proved true against these men. They are “Companions of the Fire”: in other words, they are fit to live only in the environment of Evil!
