22ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُم كانَت تَأتيهِم رُسُلُهُم بِالبَيِّناتِ فَكَفَروا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ قَوِيٌّ شَديدُ العِقابِLaleh BakhtiarThat had been because their Messengers approached them with the clear portents, but they were ungrateful so God took them. Truly, He is Strong, Severe in Repayment.
