(O Beloved!) Indeed We have sent Revelation to you as We sent it to Nuh (Noah) and (other) Messengers after him; and We also sent Revelation to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma‘il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya‘qub (Jacob) and (his) children and ‘Isa (Jesus), Ayyub (Job), Yunus (Jonah), Harun (Aaron) and Sulaiman (Solomon); and We conferred the Zabur (Book of Psalms) upon Dawud (David).
