50قَد قالَهَا الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم فَما أَغنىٰ عَنهُم ما كانوا يَكسِبونَMuhammad AsadThe same did say [to themselves many of] those who lived before their time; but of no avail to them was all that they had ever achieved:
