5 Preface رَبُّ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ وَما بَينَهُما وَرَبُّ المَشارِقِAli Quli Qaraithe Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and the Lord of the easts.1 That is, the points of sunrise at the winter and summer solstices. Cf. 7:137; 55:17; 70:40.
