25وَرَدَّ اللَّهُ الَّذينَ كَفَروا بِغَيظِهِم لَم يَنالوا خَيرًا ۚ وَكَفَى اللَّهُ المُؤمِنينَ القِتالَ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزيزًاMuhammad AsadThus, for all their fury, God repulsed those who were bent on denying the truth;1 no advantage did they gain, since God was enough to [protect] the believers in battle - seeing that God is most powerful, almighty -;I.e., the pagans among the Confederates (see note 13 above); their Jewish allies are mentioned separately in the next verse.
