54 Preface وَمَكَروا وَمَكَرَ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيرُ الماكِرينَAli Quli QaraiThen they1 plotted [against Jesus], and Allah also devised, and Allah is the best of devisers. That is, the opponents of Jesus among the Jews.
