129وَتَتَّخِذونَ مَصانِعَ لَعَلَّكُم تَخلُدونَMuhammad Asadand make for yourselves mighty castles, [hoping] that you might become immortal?1The meaning could be either "hoping that you might live in them forever", or "that you might gain immortal renown for having built them".
