62وَهُوَ الَّذي جَعَلَ اللَّيلَ وَالنَّهارَ خِلفَةً لِمَن أَرادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَو أَرادَ شُكورًاMuhammad AsadAnd He it is who causes the night and the day to succeed one another, [revealing Himself in His works] unto him who has the will to take thought - that is,1 has the will to be grateful.Lit., "or" (aw) - a particle which obviously does not denote here an alternative but, rather, an explanatory amplification, similar to Ihe expression "in other words".
