55 Preface وَيَعبُدونَ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ ما لا يَنفَعُهُم وَلا يَضُرُّهُم ۗ وَكانَ الكافِرُ عَلىٰ رَبِّهِ ظَهيرًاYusuf AliYet do they worship, besides God, things that can neither profit them nor harm them: and the Misbeliever is a helper (of Evil), against his own Lord!1Here is the highest contrast of all?material things which are inert, and God, Whose goodness and power are supreme; Faith and Unfaith, meriting glad tidings and admonition; the selfish man who is self-centered, and the man of God, who works for others without reward.
