23 Preface وَقَدِمنا إِلىٰ ما عَمِلوا مِن عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلناهُ هَباءً مَنثورًاYusuf AliAnd We shall turn to whatever deeds they did (in this life), and We shall make such deeds as floating dust scattered about.1The false hopes they built on in this life, and the deeds they did under the shadow of such false hopes will be dissipated as if they were dust flying about in the wind. They will have no value whatever (j. 2:167).
