21۞ وَقالَ الَّذينَ لا يَرجونَ لِقاءَنا لَولا أُنزِلَ عَلَينَا المَلائِكَةُ أَو نَرىٰ رَبَّنا ۗ لَقَدِ استَكبَروا في أَنفُسِهِم وَعَتَوا عُتُوًّا كَبيرًاLaleh BakhtiarThose who hope not for a meeting with Us said: Why were angels not caused to descend to us and why see we not our Lord? Surely, they grew arrogant among themselves, defiant, turning in great disdain.
