And had the (Holy) Truth (Allah) followed their vain desires then (all) the heavens and the earth and whatever (living and non-living things) are therein, all would have been destroyed. We have rather brought them that (Qur’an) which contains (the secret of) their honour, dignity (and fame). So it is from their own honour that they are turning away.
