33وَقالَ المَلَأُ مِن قَومِهِ الَّذينَ كَفَروا وَكَذَّبوا بِلِقاءِ الآخِرَةِ وَأَترَفناهُم فِي الحَياةِ الدُّنيا ما هٰذا إِلّا بَشَرٌ مِثلُكُم يَأكُلُ مِمّا تَأكُلونَ مِنهُ وَيَشرَبُ مِمّا تَشرَبونَN. J. DawoodBut the unbelieving elders of his people, who denied the life to come and on whom We had bestowed the good things of this life, said: ‘This man is but a mortal like yourselves, nourished by the same food and drink.
