17 Preface إِنَّ الَّذينَ آمَنوا وَالَّذينَ هادوا وَالصّابِئينَ وَالنَّصارىٰ وَالمَجوسَ وَالَّذينَ أَشرَكوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفصِلُ بَينَهُم يَومَ القِيامَةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ شَهيدٌAhmed AliGod will judge between those who believe and the Jews, the Sabians,1 Christians and the Magians2 and the idolaters, on the Day of Judgement. Verily God is witness to everything. Another name of the Elkesaites, Jewish cult that practised baptism, which was favoured by the Essence (1st century A.D.), called Sabians after Sobiai who was the successor of Eleksai, the founder.Zoroastrians, called Magians, as relating to the Magi, pl. of Magus, Ar. majoos.
