55وَإِذ قُلتُم يا موسىٰ لَن نُؤمِنَ لَكَ حَتّىٰ نَرَى اللَّهَ جَهرَةً فَأَخَذَتكُمُ الصّاعِقَةُ وَأَنتُم تَنظُرونَTalal ItaniAnd recall that you said, “O Moses, we will not believe in you unless we see God plainly.” Thereupon the thunderbolt struck you, as you looked on.
