55وَإِذ قُلتُم يا موسىٰ لَن نُؤمِنَ لَكَ حَتّىٰ نَرَى اللَّهَ جَهرَةً فَأَخَذَتكُمُ الصّاعِقَةُ وَأَنتُم تَنظُرونَN. J. DawoodWhen you said to Moses: ‘We will not believe in you until we see God with our own eyes,’ the thunderbolt struck you while you were looking on.
