3الَّذينَ يُؤمِنونَ بِالغَيبِ وَيُقيمونَ الصَّلاةَ وَمِمّا رَزَقناهُم يُنفِقونَMir Aneesuddinwho believe1 in the unseen and establish worship (salat)2 and spend from that which We have provided for them.Believe (Momin).This word has been retained in brackets and its translation "worship" prefixed to it, to convey the sense of the formal worship which consists of standing, bowing down, sitting, prostrating etc. It has been translated by some as prayer which appears to be a more appropriate translation of the word 'Doa' used for seeking Allah's help.
