زُيِّنَ لِلَّذينَ كَفَرُوا الحَياةُ الدُّنيا وَيَسخَرونَ مِنَ الَّذينَ آمَنوا ۘ وَالَّذينَ اتَّقَوا فَوقَهُم يَومَ القِيامَةِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَرزُقُ مَن يَشاءُ بِغَيرِ حِسابٍ

Muhammad Asad

Unto those who are bent on denying the truth the life of this world [alone] seems goodly;¹ hence, they scoff at those who have attained to faith: but they who are conscious of God shall be above them on Resurrection Day. And God grants sustenance unto whom He wills, beyond all reckoning.²

Lit., "has been made beauteous".
I.e., He cannot be called to account for the way in which He distributes worldly benefits, sometimes granting them to the morally deserving and sometimes to sinners.
