183يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنوا كُتِبَ عَلَيكُمُ الصِّيامُ كَما كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِكُم لَعَلَّكُم تَتَّقونَM. H. ShakirO you who believe! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard (against evil).
