17 Preface فَاتَّخَذَت مِن دونِهِم حِجابًا فَأَرسَلنا إِلَيها روحَنا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَها بَشَرًا سَوِيًّاAli Quli QaraiThus did she seclude herself from them, whereupon We sent to her Our Spirit1 and he became incarnate for her as a well-proportioned human. That is, Gabriel (ʿa).
