59 Preface وَما مَنَعَنا أَن نُرسِلَ بِالآياتِ إِلّا أَن كَذَّبَ بِهَا الأَوَّلونَ ۚ وَآتَينا ثَمودَ النّاقَةَ مُبصِرَةً فَظَلَموا بِها ۚ وَما نُرسِلُ بِالآياتِ إِلّا تَخويفًاAli Quli QaraiNothing keeps Us from sending signs except that the ancients denied them. We gave Thamūd the she-camel as an eye-opener, but they wronged her. We do not send the signs except for deterrence.
