50 Preface يَخافونَ رَبَّهُم مِن فَوقِهِم وَيَفعَلونَ ما يُؤمَرونَ ۩Ahmed AliThey have fear of God for His power over them,1 and act as commanded. Min Fauqihim. Fauq means above, but when used with min, it means, superiority, min fauqihim, ‘being above’ them in superiority, i.e. power.
