He said: ‘Do but consider, my people! If my Lord has revealed to me His will and bestowed on me a gracious gift, should I not guide you? I do not wish to argue with you, only to practise what I forbid you. I seek only to reform you as far as I am able. Nor can I succeed without God’s help. In Him I have put my trust and to Him I turn in penitence.
