101 Preface وَما ظَلَمناهُم وَلٰكِن ظَلَموا أَنفُسَهُم ۖ فَما أَغنَت عَنهُم آلِهَتُهُمُ الَّتي يَدعونَ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ مِن شَيءٍ لَمّا جاءَ أَمرُ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَما زادوهُم غَيرَ تَتبيبٍAli Quli QaraiWe did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. Of no avail to them were their gods whom they would invoke besides Allah, in any wise, when your Lord’s edict came, and they1 did not increase them in anything but ruin. That is, their false gods.
