83فَما آمَنَ لِموسىٰ إِلّا ذُرِّيَّةٌ مِن قَومِهِ عَلىٰ خَوفٍ مِن فِرعَونَ وَمَلَئِهِم أَن يَفتِنَهُم ۚ وَإِنَّ فِرعَونَ لَعالٍ فِي الأَرضِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنَ المُسرِفينَT. B. Irving(IX) Only some offspring among his own folk believed in Moses because of fear for Pharaoh and his councillors, lest he might put them to some test. Pharaoh was so haughty on earth and besides he was a dissipated man.
