67هُوَ الَّذي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيلَ لِتَسكُنوا فيهِ وَالنَّهارَ مُبصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ في ذٰلِكَ لَآياتٍ لِقَومٍ يَسمَعونَMuhammad Asad[whereas] it is He who has made the night for you, so that you might have rest therein, and the day, to make [you] see1 in this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who [are willing to] listen.See 14:32-33 and the corresponding note 46; for the specific significance, in this context, of the reference to "day" and "night", see note 77 on 27:86, which belongs to a somewhat earlier revelation than the present surah.
