26۞ لِلَّذينَ أَحسَنُوا الحُسنىٰ وَزِيادَةٌ ۖ وَلا يَرهَقُ وُجوهَهُم قَتَرٌ وَلا ذِلَّةٌ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ أَصحابُ الجَنَّةِ ۖ هُم فيها خالِدونَMuhammad AsadFor those who persevere in doing good there is the ultimate good in store, and more [than that].1 No darkness and no ignominy will overshadow their faces [on Resurrection Day]: it is they who are destined for paradise, therein to abide.I.e., more than their actual merits may warrant (cf. 6:160- "Whoever shall come [before God] with a good deed will gain ten times the like thereof").
