Chapter 98

The Proofal-Bayyinah ( البينة )

»The surah that mentions the advent of the message of the Quran and its Messenger as The Proof of a decisive revelation for both the disputing People of the Scripture and the unbelievers unlettered in God’s word. It is named after “the proof” (al-bayyinah) mentioned in verse 1 and verse 4. The surah spells out the basic tenets of faith, and contrasts the Fire of Hell with the lasting bliss that will be enjoyed by the faithful.«

The surah is also known as The Clear Evidence, The Clear Proof, The Clear Sign, The Evidence

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

: (شروع کرتا ہوں) اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔

لَم يَكُنِ الَّذينَ كَفَروا مِن أَهلِ الكِتابِ وَالمُشرِكينَ مُنفَكّينَ حَتّىٰ تَأتِيَهُمُ البَيِّنَةُ

اہلِ کتاب اور مشرکین میں سے جو لوگ کافر تھے وہ (اپنے کفر سے) باز آنے والے نہ تھے جب تک ان کے پاس ایک واضح دلیل نہ آجائے۔
