48 Preface وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُمُ اركَعوا لا يَركَعونَYusuf AliAnd when it is said to them, “Prostrate yourselves!” they do not so.1Prostration is a symbol of humility and a desire to get nearer to God by Prayer and a good life. Those who refuse to adopt this Path are to be pitied: how will they fare at Judgment?
