22فَدَلّاهُما بِغُرورٍ ۚ فَلَمّا ذاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَت لَهُما سَوآتُهُما وَطَفِقا يَخصِفانِ عَلَيهِما مِن وَرَقِ الجَنَّةِ ۖ وَناداهُما رَبُّهُما أَلَم أَنهَكُما عَن تِلكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُل لَكُما إِنَّ الشَّيطانَ لَكُما عَدُوٌّ مُبينٌMuhammad QadriThen Satan created apprehensions in their hearts in order to disclose to them matters of their shame which were hidden from them, and said, "Your Lord has forbidden you from this tree, for you may become angels or immortals."
