19 Preface وَيا آدَمُ اسكُن أَنتَ وَزَوجُكَ الجَنَّةَ فَكُلا مِن حَيثُ شِئتُما وَلا تَقرَبا هٰذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكونا مِنَ الظّالِمينَYusuf Ali“O Adam! dwell thou1 and thy wife in the Garden, and enjoy2 (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression.”Now the story turns to man. He was placed in a spiritual Garden of innocence and bliss, but it was God’s Plan to give him a limited faculty of choice.
