لَقَد كَفَرَ الَّذينَ قالوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ المَسيحُ ابنُ مَريَمَ ۚ قُل فَمَن يَملِكُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيئًا إِن أَرادَ أَن يُهلِكَ المَسيحَ ابنَ مَريَمَ وَأُمَّهُ وَمَن فِي الأَرضِ جَميعًا ۗ وَلِلَّهِ مُلكُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ وَما بَينَهُما ۚ يَخلُقُ ما يَشاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ

Yusuf Ali

In blasphemy indeed are those that say that God is Christ the son of Mary. Say: “Who then hath the least power against God, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all every - one that is on the earth? For to God belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth1 what He pleaseth. For God hath power over all things.”
  • The most honoured of the prophets of God are but men. All power belongs to God, and not to any man. God’s creation may take many forms, but because in any particular form it is different from what we see daily around us, it does not cease to be Creation, or to be subject to the power of God. No creature can be God.
