174فَانقَلَبوا بِنِعمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضلٍ لَم يَمسَسهُم سوءٌ وَاتَّبَعوا رِضوانَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذو فَضلٍ عَظيمٍMuhammad Asad- and returned [from the battle] with God's blessings and bounty, without having been touched by evil:1 for they had been striving after God's goodly acceptance - and God is limitless in His great bounty.I.e., the moral evil arising out of weakness of faith and loss of courage: an allusion to what happened to many Muslims at Uhud.
