13وَحَنانًا مِن لَدُنّا وَزَكاةً ۖ وَكانَ تَقِيًّاHilali & KhanAnd (made him) sympathetic to men as a mercy (or a grant) from Us, and pure from sins [i.e. Yahya (John)] and he was righteous,
