6وَيَستَعجِلونَكَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبلَ الحَسَنَةِ وَقَد خَلَت مِن قَبلِهِمُ المَثُلاتُ ۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذو مَغفِرَةٍ لِلنّاسِ عَلىٰ ظُلمِهِم ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَديدُ العِقابِMuhammad AliAnd they ask thee to hasten on the evil before the good and indeed there have been exemplary punishments before them. And surely thy Lord is full of forgiveness for mankind notwithstanding their iniquity. And surely thy Lord is Severe in requiting.
